Dr. Omar Usman Khan's research interests lie in computational micromagnetics, scientific and high performance computing, and wireless and ad-hoc sensor networks. He has most recently served as a PostDoc researcher at Politecnico di Torino, Italy, working on, and developing computational tools for inducing spin waves in spintronic and magnonic devices. Prior to this, he completed his PhD in Control and Computer Systems Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, in 2013, MS in Computer Systems Engineering from GIK Institute, Pakistan, in 2008, MSc in Distributed Systems from Brunel University, UK, in 2005, and BE in Computer Systems Engineering from University of Greenwich, UK, in 2002.
