NUCES – ACM Student Chapter organized ” Youth Social Entrepreneurship Summit” on 18th December 2018 with support of Australian High Commission and in collaboration with DTI – Delivering to Impact.
Under the banner of NUCES Pwr. ACM-Student Chapter a Youth Summit focusing on “Social
Entrepreneurship” on 18th of December 2018 (Tuesday) was organized with the support of Australian
High Commission in collaboration with DTI – Delivering to Impact, which is a leading communication
consulting and project management firm with focus on cultivating empowerment and entrepreneurship
in partnership with businesses, governments, non-governmental and non-profit organizations.
Senior consultant of DTI, Haider Miraj, enlightened the audience regarding introduction and perks of
social entrepreneurship and how it works or has life-changing impact on others.
The theme for this year was ‘Social Entrepreneurship’. Main focus was on social enterprise and
community building. The consultant asked participants to pitch ideas on the theme of social
entrepreneurship. From the audience of 60+ students, 20+ students presented their ideas.
At the end, Winner and Runner up were announced and were granted shields by Director of FAST NUCES
Dr. Muhammad Tariq on the behalf of Australian High Commission and DTI – Delivering to Impact.
The team of Australian High Commission and DTI – Delivering to Impact appreciated the efforts of ACM
for organizing the Summit for which they presented a shield to President – CH Hanzaila Maqsood for the
The Director of FAST – NUCES awarded shield to Dr. Usman Habib the Faculty Sponsor of ACM Society for
their efforts. And Dr. Usman Habib presented the shield to Director – Dr. Muhammad Tariq.
At the end refreshment was given to all the participants who give ideas and to those who put their efforts
for making this event successful.
